Microsoft Supports Criminal Organizations via Bing Search Results
Microsoft Bing search results support criminal organizations that extort thousands of dollars from people. These organizations publish arrest photos and add metadata to push them to the top of results. When you contact them, they state that they do not remove photos, but suggest other "sponsored" businesses that will. The "sponsored" business charges someone thousands of dollars to have the other organization remove the photo. They can get away with this in some states because of the servers location. Other states it is illegal to do any of the above. Photo's are published on multiple sites, thus having the ability to charge you for multiple site photo removals.
Not only is this unethical on Microsoft's part, it is illegal in most states. Google removed the offending domains and watches for new ones as the criminal organizations change domain names once they realize they have be excluded from the search results.
