Setting for video playback quality for low speed connections
Bing video is always slow and I end up closing it. Can there be a persistent setting for bing video where I can say "just give me a basic lower quality so I can see the video quicker" If I like it and want a higher quality I'll change it1 vote
Thanks Mark for the feedback. We have just addressed your issue by adding a filter in the “Resolution” filter right under the search box and related searches. If you click that, you now have the option to only get results that are lower than 360p so you get lower quality videos. You can also easily remove/add this filter when you need.
Sometimes when I'm just looking at a preview, I blank out and have to start the video over again. They aren't even that long, but it's still a nuisance. Please let us be able to rewind or fast forward through the video.1 vote
We actually do support you to fast forward or rewind thru a video preview. When you hover on a video preview on the video search results page, some of the results when you hover on them show 4 image thumbnails under the preview. Hovering on these will fast forward or rewind to the 4 most popular viewed places in that video. Not all videos previews offer these, but take a look and try them out! Thanks for using Bing Videos!
I love Bing as my homepage, the photos are amazing and I like the newsfeed, BUT, the auto-play video often crashes my browser session. Maybe0 votes
Looks like the video card drive fixed the problem. Thanks!
Possibly you should make more white space between videos. No background fits more on the screen, however you get lost and can't find what you are looking for.8 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We have just rolled out a new modern layout for Video results. We hope you will like this! Keep your feedback coming, use it to improve Bing.
